I side with Jason here: flying a legacy carrier and trying to stick with the same one (Delta tends to be my choice as well unless I’m flying up and down the west coast where I choose Alaska). I’m also more of a fan of flying into (or out of) the closest airport even if it means a connection.

But… I tend to not mind airport layovers. If I have to have one, I’ll make sure it is a good couple of hours. 1. If I arrive late, I’m not under the gun on a plane change and 2. If I arrive on time, I can go get a couple of drinks, enjoy a leisurely meal, or even catch up on calls and emails on my phone. But then again, I enjoy flying (putting aside the regular BS we all have to go through) and don’t mind the added take-offs and landings.

The Gurkha you referenced is called the “Shaggy” line. Gurkha as a company must have upwards of 40 different lines. Their “Titan” is a fantastic medium-full body stick. Not cheap, but a great smoke. I’ve never, ever had a Gurkha that had burn problems, flavor issues, or wasn’t good pretty much down to the nub. Quality product.
