When calculating in the risk of ruin for video poker, you have to remember that the machine payback (99% or whatever) includes getting a royal every 40,000 hands. IE, the risk of ruin is based on someone who is going to play hundreds of thousands of hands and see the statistical number of each type of hand come up.

Hence, your risk of ruin for just a few hours of video poker on a trip will generally be way off. You’ll lose much more quickly than projected at VP (on average). As someone who has put in hundreds of hours a year at VP in the past (proper strategy, nearly full-pay games), you do come pretty damn close to breaking even each year. And… one can drink up the modest loss and come out ahead.

I’ve never had a bad Macanudo. Quality sticks for the money. My fave is the Robust, which is more of a medium-bodied cigar with good flavor. Per the Baccarat, you can’t go wrong with them. But no question they are a mild cigar, especially today when so many powerhouse sticks are out there. Nothing wrong with that, however!
