So guys, I have listened to both VIMFP podcasts… You mentioned the Main St. Station casino, but not the beer. Did you try it?

Mike, sadly, we got there WAY too early to try it. The morning we went to have buffet, there were hours between before it would have opened. After that, we never made it back down there.

On an up note, it appears we’ll be back the last full week of March, spending 5 nights downtown, so we should have ample opportunity to visit (and re-visit and re-visit)! =D

I have to point out that the micro brew beers are served 24-7 from the back VP bar for $1.50/pint. It’s never too early in Vegas…

I agree that the Main Street buffet is one of the best, especially at price to value.

Oh that’s great information, thanks, Mike! I had no idea that was even an option. =)

I assume that deal is ongoing. It’s been a year since I have been to Vegas, but the price usually stays between $1.50 and $1.75 — rarely $2 — for 777 Brewpub beers at the poker bar. The bar staff doesn’t always love my cigar, but they tolerate it.
The Black Chip Porter is one of my favorite dark beers.
