Podcast 221: Cask-Strength Rambling

Podcast 221, 5/24/15 … Happy Memorial Day! In this mostly unscripted and well-lubricated episode, Jason and Tony discuss the behind-the-scenes stuff of what happens when we have technical glitches, then they enjoy a finger of Bookers cask-strength bourbon before talking about high-proof whiskeys in general. Some indelicate content was NOT removed, so listener discretion is advised.

I love Bookers bourbon. I snagged a bottle for $40 at a duty-free store in Canada. Very spicy and strong and goes well with similar cigars.

I do cut it with a few drops of water, but I drink it neat. It takes a bit of alcohol burn off.

But watch out for it — that 129 proof can sneak up on you. I have overdone it on Bookers a couple of times.

Same, Mike. A small capful, but otherwise neat. Good stuff!
